Irish Balcony/Window Grow

Ok so first of all i was thinking, ill take some cuttings but i really don't wanna destroy my crop. So I'm going to get some net/lace curtains and cover up the window, i hope that'll be enough light for their needs. Does anyone know ?

axlcinema Reviewed by axlcinema on 06-29-2009. Irish Balcony/Window Grow I know its a late grow diary, but here it is anyway. Late spring May/ early summer June. These babies are 18 days from seed. I'm growing on my window and balcony (depending on weather conditions). I can afford to take that risk cos no one else is in the building and plants are too high up to be seen on the balcony. Here is a thought of something you could try. Take a glazed piece of poly carbonate (used for greenhouse walls and roofs). Place this against the window. Then you put your plants in the window sill where they already were. And lastly put up some curtains that have a white backside to reflect light back at the plants and make a make shift grow room. You would still get to use the suns free energy. With a little more work you could seal it off decently and then add and inlet and hook up a small exhaust fan with a carbon filter and you wouldnt have to worry about mold from still air or smell if you are worried about the guard catching a wiff of the plants. I'm just offering an opinion.Good luck with the grow

Do you mean seal the plants between the polycarbonate and the window ?
Yesterday i bought some net curtains hopefully that'll block the nosey pigs vision. I apologise again for no pictures i will try again tonight - my girlfriend made a surprise visit last night, so no pics.
Anyone know when i can start expecting lil buds to appear ?

they look very healthy, HEALTHIER THAN ALL 5 OF MY GROWS, probably going to want to transplant soon, what nutes/soil/water are you using?

I would transplant the shit out of those. By scale it looks like those are only like 6-8" pots, my 5" tall plant is in a 8" pot, give them roots some room, they are looking awesome though.

K so I may need to transplant, this is probably whats causing the wilting. I have a few questions though:

1. I'm flowering, will transplanting now do more damage to the plant ?

2. The soil I use is a nutrient-time-release, I'm sure this is packed with (N) won't this upset my plants ?

I'm using Royalty Mix Substrate, Terra Bloom nutrient, will be adding Green Sensation in 3 days.

I think the oldest leaves just naturally die at some point. I noticed that one of your plants has the bulging nodes that I have a thread about here so if you would please post on there when the plant shows sex I would really appreciate it, ESPECIALLY if it's a male so I can consider that technique debunked.

BTW, if using natural light they won't flower until sometime near the autumnal equinox. They will just keep growing leaves and stems.

JD is right, the plant's baby leaves die automatically because the plant gains nothing from supporting them. The only purpose the baby leaves serve is to allow for photosynthesis and gas exchange when there are no adult leaves. Think of them as baby teeth. We don't need them anymore, we have adult teeth.

Also, they look very sativa to me. You can blame the stretchiness of your plants on this. Usually, sativas stretch waaaaay more than indicas do. You can always cut them down if you don't want them getting too tall.

And like everyone else is saying, if you want to avoid choking your roots and causing root rot, replant them in larger containers.

Hey JD1stTimer I will of course comment on your thread with my results.
About using natural light, I'm covering the plant for 12/12, so time of year shouldn't really matter (with the exception of winter) right ?
