    Quick Lighting Question???

Im using three Sun Blaster 48" 54 watt single bulb High output 64k 4680 lumens at 77 degrees Fahrenheit

Also one 23watt soft white 1600 lumens and one 27 watt daylight 1400 lumens cfl.

When it pops out of its shell I plan on just using the cfls for 2 to 4 weeks.
how close do i want to start the light out at when it pops??

and when should I move the lights closer??

    thanks:jointsmile:

    Quick Lighting Question???

you can keep the bulbs close (withing 1-4" the whole time. there is no need to cut the others.

the only time you need to back the light off is for clones, if i'm not mistaken.

    Quick Lighting Question???

Keep the cfl's around 3-4 inches (depending on heat output) away from the sprout, as soon as it's out of the soil. Place your hand under the light to see if it is ever too hot for the plant.

    Quick Lighting Question???

see above post! you shouldn't have any problems.

the moving the lights back is more so for clones to give them time to recover from the shock of being cut off and popped in a pot or cloner. this will help establish some roots.
