That's a dandy little grow room. Your girls look very happy there. I think I could be, too.....

I think i heard from somewhere that putting a layer of sand over the dirt will stop the gnats from laying their eggs in your soil...
Weezard said that worked, but was a PIA if you hafta transplant. (Hopefully not an issue here). I've used paper plates with a slot cut to a stalk-hole. Weez has done the same with reflectix--really any barrier to keep the winged adults from laying eggs in the soil.

But my fave is like a buck-two-eighty at Ho-Po:

Hang them someplace where you're not gonna get yerself caught in it-- like Br'er Rabbit.
DreadedHermie Reviewed by DreadedHermie on . plants too tall!!!! Blessings All, My lovely ladies are getting too tall for my ceiling!!! They are 4 weeks into a 12 week flowering cycle and I have already raised the lights as high as they go. I gave them bushmaster last week and it slowed the growth but I don't think it has stopped it. What do I do know? Do I absolutely have to top them? How much should I cut off? Just until they are no longer in heat or do I have to cut more to allow them to grow? Should I just determine the maximum height and keep Rating: 5
