There is a reason that there is a troubleshooting form, and doubtful folks will go chasing your thread around. If you want us to put the effort into helping you, perhaps you could put some effort into this yourself, as this is likely one of the most lazy requests I've ever seen in here.

Although having your own thread is pretty cool, it appears that you've locked yourself into taking advise from newbies. Bad habit to get into, as they aren't always the best source of info....

Not a fan of CFL's? Wet-dry cycle for clones...? Foliar feeding unrooted clones...? :wtf:

Well, my post may be lazy but I assumed that the information provided in those last few posts was adequate enough to give you the details of the issue. Silly me. Secondly, one of those newbies you so lovingly refer to helped me out with my tent issue that I would have never figured out otherwise. In fact, when I first started posting on here was in regards to having what would have been a 4th failed crop in these tents of mine and I was pretty much on the verge of giving up all together. He was the first one on these boards to help me solve that problem and so far its been working out quite well. It seems that I was over-reacting to the (most likely) natural progress of the plants large fan leaves showing a N deficiency. I'm just over-sensitive to anything my plants do because I haven't gotten a crop from seed to harvest since I started last year due to my toxic tents.

My clones...well they are dying because I'm a newbie, I took them after I swapped 12/12, and the humidity in the area that I'm keeping them stays below at or below 30% if I take the hood off.

So, go ahead and continue with your negativity and lack of guidance since its been working so well for you so far right?

Here is a little quote for you there buddy..

People who project negativity typically have low self-esteem. They feel badly about themselves, and their negativity is simply a reflection of those feelings.

Dude, Rusty is one of the guru's here. Think about your situation, you're posting for help in the Plant Problem forums. Rusty was simply stating that if you want some help, describe your problem and the conditions your plant is in, rather than linking to your 8 page grow log and saying "Read this". It doesn't take more than 5 minutes to lay out your medium, nutes, pH, PPM, temps, light, etc. for us here so we don't have to sift through 8 pages of your grow log to get the info. This is a forum of stoners, after all....

There's no need to be defensive, especially when you are trying to get help from others. Insteading of wasting time with that last post getting defensive and trying to prove you're right, you could have spent half the time just puting up your specs and then people could help you. I've found that no one really takes kindly to people asking for help and then not giving any info, let alone getting defensive about being asked for it.

Remember, you're asking people to take their own time to help YOU with YOUR problems because YOU asked. The ones that are willing to do that aren't the people you want to piss off, so its just best to provide the info, take the advice you're given, and not get all huffy about it. :hippy::thumbsup:

@dejayou30 - Rusty did more than just simply state anything. There was definate condensending overtones in his post, and probably just about he majority of posts I've ever read from him honestly. But I do agree with you, I was out of line to a degree, and I should have followed the forum guidlines for posting in the Plant Problems section. However, if it weren't for the "newbies" that he is reffering to that helped me to find out that my tents were toxic, I would have given up on growing by now.

So, you can blame me for being defensive, maybe to much....guilty as charged. I feel to some degree that it was justified.

Lastly, Rusty's high handed attitude with just about every one of his posts I've read is un-called for at best. He may be a growing genius but that doesn't mean he has to be arrogant and negative when he is responding to fellow growers posts regardless of skill level. I'm not asking for a luvy duvy lets all hold hands and sing age of aquarious around the camp fire...just be civil, I don't think thats asking alot.

That's a good thing, too... 'cause I'm pretty sure Rusty ain't one of those kinds of growers!

Deja hit it right on the nose, and so did Rusty in his own roundabout way... a lot of growers don't have a whole lot of time to spend answering questions, and so asking them to refer to your grow log to discern whatever information they can about your grow is extremely inconvenient. Especially when, as Deja pointed out, you could just spend the extra five minutes needed to just fill out the form in this post.

Also, look at it from the perspective of Rusty, who is experienced and has been around these boards for quite a while; he's seen a lot of newbies come in here who try giving advice when either a) they're not experienced enough to manage their own grows, or b) are relying only on what they've read from grow books and other growing websites, but have no personal experience. That kind of shit gets annoying real fast, regardless who you are or what your skill level is, and Rusty just doesn't enjoy seeing people take advice that could jeopardize someone else having a successful grow. Many of the people who come here aren't just growing to get stoned, but have legitimate health-related conditions which they use cannabis for. I'm one of them, and I know Rusty and his wife are too. That's not to say that you are just growing to get high, I don't know what your story is, but if you aren't then you can probably understand Rusty's perspective even better.

Anyway, we are a community here and we can get along... but only when we don't let disagreements or pissing contests get out of hand. Once that starts, the proverbial shit hits the proverbial fan real quick and legitimate questions become even less likely to ever get answered.

...with all that in mind, have you filled out the troubleshooting form yet?

Problem is resolved. I was freaking out about a natural N deficiency starting in my larger fan leaves.

Rather than having more posts deleted...I'll simplify the equatuion, and have now put ya on ignore.

    There...doesn't that feel much better?

Plus, I don't blame Rusty for his condescending undertones as you would say as it's ridiculous how many people on a day to day basis come on here and ask what their problem is without posting the specs (troubleshooting form). It's kinda like an never ending wave of leeches looking for every answer without putting in the effort to figure out what needs to be done to get the help.....

On another note, your plants look good and I'm glad to see you got it figured out! Also, in same way or form we are all still n00bs to somebody as we learn new things everyday! Good Luck and be safe!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Rusty Trichome again.:wtf:

I can feel this thread being closed soon enough with all the bickering

Not taking sides here but this ignore thing is dumb. I'm just throwing this out there....I've never put ANYONE on ignore and I never will. I don't have a grudge or know anyone good enough to be that ignorant. I don't expect to be ignored because I did nothing to warrant it. People don't always respond to my threads or understand me but at least I try to be a part of this community. Inhale and relax...:hippy:
