In need of important information!
Greetings all...
I plan on growing (5) feminized White Widows & (5) Mazar-I-Sharif plants.
I am a noob grower and I intend on growing all of them outdoors.
My location is fine, well hidden, and according to my observations I will be getting atleast 8 hours of good sun. All the plants will be in large pots.
My soil will consist of MG Organic soil, and I will be mixing in Black Kow manure.
Question #1---What other items should I add to my soil to make it optimum?
Question #2---I plan on using MG tomato plant feed of 18-18-21 in the vegetative state. Is this a good ratio? And is there anything else or something else I should use in the veg phase?
Question #3---What should I feed them in the flowering phase? Any and all suggestions would help.
Question#4---Should I start my seed indoors in those little pete moss starters with the plastic domes? Or should I start directly in the large pots I have planned to avoid transplant shock?
Any and all information will and would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance! :s4:BudE714 Reviewed by BudE714 on . In need of important information! don't mean to be a dick, but the search function is highly useful, and many questions can be answered with it. Also all of the FAQ's at the top of each section are great places to start.

Hey, dude, happy to help, searching old posts is a hassle. Miracle gro is fine though some ppl seem to knock it a bit. Manure is good but I would make it a mix of MG soil, topsoil, the manure, and some perlite, doesn't have to be a science, though. if you're fertilizing, the manure isn't very neccesary. MG fertilizer works well, but if you read the contents it lacks many of the micronutrients needed and their soil certainly doesn't contain much. I prefer a product called Dynamite you can get at home depot, asmuch as I hate that place. Follow the directions and sprinkle on top of the soil. As for starting seedlings if you're going to use the pots just start them directly in the pot. If you prefer to start in the little peet containers that's cool too. Grass doesn't seem to mind transplanting too much when they're seedlings unless you really rough them up. Well, good luck, happy gardening.

For nutrients I believe MG has some flowering fertilizers. Basically you want high Nitrogen or N during veg and high Phosphorous or P during flowering, but don't neccessarily follow the package directionswith miraclegro. If you're going to use it every 1-2 weeks only use it at 1/2 the recommended strength. MG can be overdone easily. It's not always good to keep pumping your plants full of food. Buy a growbook at borders, the grow bible is pretty good. It doesn'thave to be a science, just let it grow. peace.....again.
