I have used a NutraDip Tri-Meter for about a year and a half now. I have already been through one pH probe and now the meter box itself is on the fritz. The temp and PPM side seem to be working fine but the pH meter was reading all my res's at 5.3 and not fluctuating and I know that can't be. I thought it was the cord of the pH meter because at the base it was frayed from being bent too many times, but I spliced the connector and cord from the old pH meter onto the new probe and it was still reading 5.3. Then I unplugged it and went to take it apart thinking it must be something internal, but I didn't have a screwdriver that fit, and when I plugged it back in it just reads 16.6 and will not move. I am not sure what to do, and I do not want to be out a $250 meter but I think thats what it has come down to. Any suggestions on what to do or recommendations for a nice multi function pen meter under $200? :wtf:
