a plant can hermie from many different things. some of these things are stress related such as light, food, pH etc etc. a lot of those factors vary strain by strain. also, a plant can have bad genetics. once a plant is a hermie and throws seeds, those seeds have a high percentege of also being hermies.

i just did a google search and came up with the attached images. don't get caught up in the time line people use as opposed to the physical indications that you will get. everything you need to do will have some physical indication from sexing to harvesting to watering to pH problems.

the time frames used for seed banks are an average guideline, not the de facto standard. there are many different things that can skew this time line, ergo the physical indications are what we seek.

no one has a problem giving help, as long as the person asking for it has made an HONEST effort to solve their own problem first. not too many people learn well from others experiences whether it be from hard-headness or what have you. don't believe me then go read some of the LED threads. people argue that the cheap knockoffs work as good as a quality product when there are people with EXPERIENCE that KNOW better. so why ask if you are not gonna heed their advice. that's what forums are, learning stuff through others experiences.

like weezard says, "we are not trying to reinvent the wheel". we should be trying to build on others experiences so we move forward at a faster, more efficient pace.
