Best Lighter for WeedI've tried Zippos (ewww), Bics, and other regular butane lighters. The gas tastes gross and it burns at too high of a temperature to economize THC (the heat of the lighter actually destroys a third of the THC). I've heard of jet lighters, but they burn even hotter than butane, making them worse for weed.

So are there any alternative lighters that burn at a lower temperature to protect more of the THC from being destroyed?Euphoric7 Reviewed by Euphoric7 on . Best Lighter for WeedMatches. Or so I've heard.

I doubt Lighters destroy 1/3 of the THC. That seems a bit exaggerated.

Best Lighter for WeedI assumed it would be 1/3, since most vaporizers claim to save 3x the herb. However, fire does degrade THC.

Best Lighter for Weedyou can use whatever lighter you want. what the real secret is how close you hold the flame. you can almost vaporize your weed in a bowl by properly controling how close your flame is to the weed. just because it doesnt light on fire doesnt mean nothing was inhaled. and magnifying glasses arent much better than flame because it does essentially create a flame, though you can make it just be warm over a given spot by changing the focus of the light.

Best Lighter for Weedcorrect  ... paper ignites at 451 degreesF, and THC vaporizes good, around 325F, so not really necessary to burn the herb ... but, the glass won't work after dark Originally Posted by jimmy8778 Originally Posted by jimmy8778

Best Lighter for Weedsame here ... I actually like my wooden matches best, but always misplacing them, so I pull out the old Bic ... butane is fully combusted, no odor or taste that I can tell ... :smokin: Originally Posted by Mississippi Steve Originally Posted by Mississippi Steve
