Douchebag of the Week: Tim Pawlenty
not only should folks in minnesota NOT vote for pawlenty next time...
WE ALL should vote ONLY for anti-prohibitionists!!!
cannabis and MMJ have been in the news plenty.
it will not be out of the norm that all candidates will be asked where they stand on prohibition of cannabis/hemp/MMJ.
if they are ignorant... educate them with facts.
if they 'see the light'... consider them for your vote.
if they remain, or become a prohibitionist... eliminate them from your consideration.
i pledge to ONLY vote for anti-prohibitionists, AT ANY LEVEL!!! of public office.
if there is no candidate worthy of my vote, i will seek out a candidate that is. IF there is NO candidate worthy of my vote, i will write in Jack Herer.
President Obama is a big disappointment regarding this subject. i understand that he didn't want to expend much (if any) political capital on this subject while dealing with economic woes, wars, and transition into office, but his mocking of the subject in his town hall meeting ticked me off.
the honeymoon is OVER. if cannabis/hemp are NOT removed from schedule 1 by the time Obama's re-election campaign begins, he will NOT get my vote.
i feel it is time for a third party to join the mix.
i believe that IF all anti-prohibitionists, MMJ proponents, and lovers of the recreational aspect of the herb BANDED together, as a POWERFUL voting block, we CAN influence the future of LEGAL cannabis.
i think in today's day and age, questions to candidates regarding their views on prohibition of cannabis/MMJ/hemp will no longer be considered coming out of the 'fringe' of society.
that 'fringe' asking these questions are no longer JUST longhaired, tie-dyed stoners yelling questions from the back of the crowd.
they are judges, former and present law enforcement, DOCTORS, scientists, congresspersons, Nobel laureates, and people with suits and haircuts.
oh... btw...
i am COMPLETELY weaned off of Kellogg's Sugar Pops. the withdrawals lasted for months, but i am kellogg-free, thanks to generic cocoa crispies.
