Memorial day weekend
There was really no need to delete all of mine and shake's posts.. If everyone here wasn't so damn cool I'd have no problem leaving this forum. What's the deal mods? Can't we just talk? We're all adults here. No one was mad. And I learned a few things. Ease up a little guys I know it's a MMJ forum, but loosen the chains a bit.
Kyle, no disrespect was meant man, it's just I've had a few run ins with the red necks who sport the confederate flag. So now I keep my distance.
But either way that pipe gets you high, so I like it

Yeah thanks man, I didn't mean to disrespect as well. You are correct though we are adults and no matter what forum we're on we should be able to talk about anything that we want to we have a right as human beings in doing so. I hope you did learn a lot from my post and everyone elses that had put in there knowledge of wisdom. I'm pretty sure those red necks you ran into were just ass's, they probably don't even know the real history behind it all, and most don't so it's okay

I would like to just make a few observations here:
1) That is not the "confederate flag" tho most people think it is and call it that. It is the Confederate "battle flag" that was used on the field of battle, that brave men of the south fought and died under.
2) It was HIJACKED years ago by racist hatemongers, much to the shame of many southerners who have honestly tried to wrest it back. BUT NOW it is being STOLEN by the Politically Correct crowd and that is even worse. At least with the racists we knew what they stood for, the PC crowd is just a bunch of aholes who feel morally superior to others and are willing to lie and distort history so they have a warm feeling all over. (ie: the civil war was fought to free the slaves)
I have some very strong feelings about this flag issue, since I had a great, great...grandfather who died a POW in a yankee prison camp. Where the confederate battle flag is not allowed on the mass grave there, except for one day a year. And even then the PC crowd has a lot to say about it and makes life difficult for the families trying to honor thier dead relatives....and why I won't go there ever again.
KyleIsNorml has it right, in his sig area above; Heritage not Hate.
If you see it as a symbol of hate then it is, but that is your making of it, not what the majority of southerners believe it to be.Keep it civil please, gentlemen. -StinkyAttic

Oldmac thanks for agreeing and I also agree with everything that you had said above. But these days I look at life one way when it comes to peoples factual statements and opinions..What ever makes you happy then so be it, whether it be good or bad because in all honesty we have a right to speak out opinion but you can only take it so far which leads into arguments and other hostile environments..When I know of someone or meet someone they can agree or disagree with me with anything they may choose because they have every right to say what they feel just as much as I. But I do believe when it comes to history it should be the truth and not some coverup story.
But we all cleared this up a couple of weeks ago which I'm glad :S5:\"What a majestic universe we live in, that the primordial elements of the stars dance their way into such intricate consciousness to the tune of sacred geometry and the rhythm of the heart.\"
