going away right when they are sprouting isn;t really a great idea.. i imagine its unavoidable though.

the problem is they will sprout and stretch up really fast right away to get close to the light.. you'll probably be fine around 5 inches though.

you are going to need ALOT more light later on if you want to be satisfied with your grow, 3 CFLs isn;t going to cut it.

oh and *typically* 23w CFLs are 1600 lumens a piece, i've seen them upwards of 1750 though, 1600 is the most common around where i am though.

Leaving for 3 days I just planted all my germinated seeds in some soil, i am gonna be leaving for 3 days, the plants havent sprouted yet, should i water really good and will they be ok? and btw i got 3 cfls on like 10 of them lol, but ill move when they sprout, how many plants can i use with 3 cfls? thanks?
