looks like too much N to me. if I start to get real dark leaves like that I immediately back off the nutes. but they are healthy nonetheless and going to produce some danky dank!

greenatik Reviewed by greenatik on 05-30-2009. vote headshake king of cardboard! what's good everyone? i've been slacking in my duties of keeping my grow logs going. as some of you know, i have constructed a new "frank", although that's not the new ones name. a name actually hasn't been given yet. anyhow, here is what's going down at the moment. there are six various dank seeds that have taken up residence in the new box. they are all ~21 (give or take, not including the pot). the reside in 3 gallon pots. they stretched for some reason during veg. i guess i Rating: 5

I second what atik says. Although Rusty will give you 'the' answer. He doesn't bullshit around. Which is key to a very successful harvest every time, in my honest opinion. :jointsmile:

Wow man, nice. That cab looks so clean and well built. Out of cardboard no less! And your plants look really good too. CFLs continue to impress me... I might have to make myself a cardboard veg box next grow so I can keep it perpetual. Anyways, well done dude. :thumbsup:

That's alot of plant for that size bucket....That's where i would start prolly.

yeah, they really crept up on me. this was the first go round using strictly fox farm nutes (last batch didn't get them til about three weeks left til harvest).

i just can't bring myself to kill any of them. it just so happen that they fit in the new cab perfectly.

they are about 25" or so from the top of the pots (3 gallon pots) to the top of the plant.

i guess next time i'll know better, and LST and top. or some combination of something. and only run about four big plants.

that's what i was thinking tik. i am using the entire fox farm lineup. i'm feeding them 1/2 strength, twice a week for a full dose. i guess i'm gonna need to modify that.

any ideas?

bezooka, i concur. i don't know why this is happening. i'm feeding them like rusty recommends. i'm gonna get a plant problem post going and see if i can't find out his input.

Well i've only grown in soil outdoors so i may not be much help here. So you nute twice a week to create the full dose. What do you do between then on the other days? When do you give them just water? I was having problems with my plants and I couldn't really pin it down and I explained to my hydro man that I was only giving them half doses. He gave me a verbal slapping and said "how would you like it if you only got half your meal?" He advised me to give a full dose and then water, water, full dose, water, water. Its been working great since. But let someone with more soil experience chime in :rasta:
