3 branches
sorry i wasnt sure where to put this. has anybody ever heard of a cannabis plant having 3 branches on every node?? i have one in the bunch that since germination has had uniform-tri-branch nodes (even had 3 seed leaves! looked like a damn mitsubishi logo when the true leaves came.) my dad seems to think it might be a hermi, i have no experience with them so i dont know. nothing else seems to be out of place other than its got a thicker stalk due to there being 3 branches on every node, and when it hit alternate-phylotaxy 1 out of the 3 branches was higher. started flowering about 4 days ago and its yet to determine sex that i can see.
anybody know whats going on? does this happen often?could it be the strain? everybody ive spoken too so far hasnt ever heard of that happening, i can take pictures if it helps. everything else seems fine its very healthy. every node takes super long to develope so its pretty short and quite bushy and the top looks like a star.
any ideas?garbageman Reviewed by garbageman on . 3 branches sorry i wasnt sure where to put this. has anybody ever heard of a cannabis plant having 3 branches on every node?? i have one in the bunch that since germination has had uniform-tri-branch nodes (even had 3 seed leaves! looked like a damn mitsubishi logo when the true leaves came.) my dad seems to think it might be a hermi, i have no experience with them so i dont know. nothing else seems to be out of place other than its got a thicker stalk due to there being 3 branches on every node, and Rating: 5

It like a four leaf clover in the mj world. It doesn't happen to often. I have had it once and got a very good harvest with a huge cola bud. Nothing wrong with it. I wish I had taken clones when I found out mine was female.

LMFAO!
http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-gr...me-stinky.html
Mine was male. So I killeded it.
it's called whorled phylotaxy. similar to the sickle cell human.
I have a sunflower sprout that did it as well.
And any node starting from a plant has a tiny chance of doing it. and I am saying "TIIINY" chance.
