cloning machine question

yeah, i've heard a lot of people that run there pumps intermittenly. you shouldn't have any problems.

headshake Reviewed by headshake on 05-28-2009. cloning machine question I made my own cloning machine out of a 5 gallon bucket. I used pvc pipe and have 4 misters coming off the pvc pipe which is connected to a submersable pump. It sprays a fine mist up to the top of the bucket. My question is how long do I mist for? My hydro dealer told me 1 minute on 4 minutes off. Where do i find such a timer? He told me his timer is $80 I feel that is way too much.Please help!!! Rating: 5

no unfortunatly not,if you look close at the top inside you will see the cone shape the jet hits,no makey flat spray

There's enough reducer's inline that you can get away with a smaller pump,I wouldn't want the water temp in cloner to be much over 75 mine run's at 70,as for running the pump intermittently...I never tried it,but hell maybe it work's better than full time,give it a try.

the ring inside the bucket is 1/2"poly from slowes,it is raindrip brand,they have two thicknesses this is the thick about 0.095 wall,since the spray emitters are screwed in I use the thick
basicilly this is the same setup I use for growing in,only the grow bucket just have 4 emitters.
the red emitters are 360 degree,that came with an early pipe aero system I bought,my first venture into hydro.

i'm not trying to be a dick but you started this thread and then don't bother to read it. what's the point? you mine as well go build a cloner blind and with the wrong parts.
