    cloning machine question

    Thank's for the compliment mac.
The reason i wouldn't use the dome is humidity,It would get very moist in there and encourage mold's and fungae.I have clone's with and without root's in mine,it's making clones 24-7-365,also the clone's get to big to fast so you can really only use the dome for the first week anyway, and only if none of your clones are rooted...
This is just my opinion ...and may not work for everyone.

    cloning machine question

I agree with macnasty Divestoned knows his shit. I am new at this and he has answered my questions well on other threads. I was told from my hydro shop to use 30ml of Olivais cloning liquid per gallon . Dive your telling me no need for this? What nutes are you using Dive? I keep my ph at 5.5-6.1

    cloning machine question

I use General Hydroponic's 3 part,at 600 ppm 5.8 ph,70 degree water,And root-tech rooting Gel.The main thing about an aero set-up is to keep the pump clean, and make sure you have max spray hitting the stalk's/root's.I have like 20 spray head's in my cloner now,it work's great. When everything is running smooth I have root's in 3-5 day's,And could prolly run a whole grow using JUST the cloner...

    cloning machine question

Dive thanks for the photo I love that setup. I am sorry I am lost when it comes to ppm I also use the 3 part GH nutes I just follow the charts given. I do not check my ppm only my ph. My hydro store tells me just follow the chart and don't worry about ppm top off with ph water when levels drop. My plants look great-thick stalks and very bushy I am sexing to see what I have. 2nd day with my clones and looking great right now. Failed twice so far. I think I got it now though. Thanks for the help. I have them under a dome and backed of my fluorescent lighting a bit to about 6". Misters and air stone going 24/7 with my Olivias solution ph 5.5-6.0. No wilting and very perky. I need this to be successful this time around- I need some bud soon.

    cloning machine question

THAT is fantastic roy,it's exactly what I was trying to explain. now choose your gromet size..decide how many fit on the lid..and your good to go.Good work man. With a bigger neoprene gromet you can actually grow a plant in it...
So how soon can we begin to sell them to the public?

    cloning machine question

the ring inside the bucket is 1/2"poly from slowes,it is raindrip brand, they have two thicknesses this is the thick about 0.095 wall, since the spray emitters are screwed in I use the thick
basicilly this is the same setup I use for growing in,only the grow bucket just have 4 emitters.
the red emitters are 360 degree, that came with an early pipe aero system I bought,my first venture into hydro.
I have not been able to find any exactly like them, and I have been looking
    like yesterday Dive:bigsmoke:

    cloning machine question

If you find the red ones let me know where, please
the red ones have a flat surface the jet hits before fanning out, all of the others I have found do not,, and make a fan shaped cone instead of a flat spray.
The blue one is a 180 degree

now my one concern is over heating the solution by running the pump 24/7 as its a eco 185gph and might get warm,so if it does can I run it intermitantly?? 1 min on/5 min off
