cloning machine question
I use the ART-2 and 3 timers
ART- 2 Adjustable Recycle Timer - 120V [CAP-ART2] - $99.95 :: West Coast Hydroponics - Superb Products
saving money on hydro equip. will probably cost you in the end. cheap stuff doesn't last, and this is a process where you need dependable equip, with low failure rates

cloning machine question
My cloner run's 24-7,there's no reason to have it shut off.The nature of an aero rooter is that it create's air and water all the time. Let it run 24-7.

two reasons for drooping:
1)TOO MANY NODES. next time, have less. one node on each side is good, sometimes you can get away with an additional. keep it simple at first.
2) NOT ENOUGH HUMIDITY. i hope your cover is covering your cloner 100%. not 99, but 100.Serious Seeds Chronic Grow Log 1000W DWC SOG

You can get a rooting hormone also,it's a gel or liquid or powder you dip your clone's in.Another thing that will prevent "drooping" is a stuff called "anti-wilt".

cloning machine question
Divestoned~how is my best buddy doing? Yes I am using Olivias liquid 30ml per gal But I am not using a dome. I heard that helps the wilting process. Ok I will do the 24/7 misters with a air stone in the juice. But what about the dome? I only have one that is about 4 inches high with two air holes cut out.

Dome's are usually for rockwool,we dont use one on the aero-rooter.I dont mix any rooting stuff in my water,I use a gel,you dip clone once and then place in rooter. I run the nute's at 600 ppm.If your getting good action from your sprayer's then you dont need an air stone,the water splashing will aerate it just fine.

many people also use domes for bubble cloners, i included, and the same should, in theory, hold for aero's. dive's the more authoritative voice here of course, but from my own experience the plants droop heavily without a dome, and perk up within an hour with a dome. when i begin to c root growth i take it off. you can expect a near 100% success rate this way.
