    Question on pruning.

Hey fellas, before i start to flower my plants in a week or two i wanna clean them up, they are getting awfully branchy.
First of all,..when i top them where exactly do you recommend topping at??

Even though i will be thoroughly bashed, i wanna prune,..A lot. I'm only growing with CFs and a pair of tube flour's. I just dont wanna chop off potential major budd sites. My main goal is to not have the "popcorn" and have the plant use all its energy into the main budd colas or whatever they are called. did much research and still a little lost. I am still a beginner.
Sooooooo0o0ooooooo,...if anyone would like to take the time and explain exatly what i should do i would be greeeeatly thankfull. So will the lady's. SOOOO will my bub.
    happy tokin

    Question on pruning.

Leave the biggest/strongest branches on and only prune the weaker, spindly undergrowth which won't produce any bud worth harvesting.

How big are your plants? have they been topped at all yet? How many branches are there?

    Question on pruning.

Dont get carried away. While removing a few of the tiny branches at the bottom is somewhat productive, trimming leaves will not.Never try and increase yield or bud quality by removing leaves. It doesnt work that way.Unless you train or top the main stem you are destined to have a less productive , taller, thinner, plant. No way around it,, its hormones.-usdi Agaluga

    Question on pruning.

They are ranging from 8-10 inches. Just topped them last night. Took some from under the plant where not much light was getting to. There are maybe 4-6 branches comming off each plant that seem to be growing up towards the light. Thats why i topped them so the other branches can catch up. Are these branches that grow more leaves out of the end and grow up where the bud is produced??

theres a lot of big fan leave things comming off the main stalk as well. I only took 1 off of the one plant because i could not tuck it away where it wasnt blocking light.
