My Pc Grow Journal! Lowryder 2
Hey guys, Just to give you an update on my PC Grow. Im not too sure if its going good or bad or just OK?
The taller is at day 37, still not into flowering even tho its auto flower, and the other is at day 33 also not flowering, and no pistils that i can see?
Also as you can see from pics the lower leaves are gettin takin by the colour yellow and brown in spot form. Iv decided i need to add something but not sure what? Any ideas?
The temp, air circulation, watering and PH is all stable. Using plagron royalty mix as recomended, and no nutes have been added? You think i need something?

Look in the 'Nutrients' link in my sig. Place to symptom to the explanation. Try to work from there. Try lowes or homedepot or order some superthrive. I'm thinking its a 'micro nute' deficiency. I'm no guru, so don't take anything I say for granted. =D

Thanks for that man.
The playgron royalty mix site says this to describe it...
"This special potting soil was developed in Holland and is, in our opinion, the best soil for organic cultivation. It consists of White peat, Baltic peat, Irish peat, sphagnum peat moss and Black peat comprising 60% of the total volume. The remainder consists of 20% worm compost, 15% perlite and 5% bio super mix which is a concentrated selection of biological fertilisers containing minerals, bacteria, vitamins, blood-meal, bone-dust, basalt-dust, bentonite, seaweed meal, guano and lava-dust. The complete mix is a ready to use, completely biologically mixed potting compost with a pH between 5.9-6.2 and an EC of 1.3.
The compost will only need water for the first 5-6 weeks of cultivation because of the amount of nutrient already present in the compost.
Plagron Royalty-mix contains a carefully selected combination of organic fertilizers which meet all the plantâ??s nutritional requirements throughout the complete cycle. These Plagron fertilizers are unique because they are only released exactly when the plant needs them.
Plagron Royalty-mix is Plagronâ??s premium product. Attention! Water well, allowing the water to seep through, before use. Do not add any fertilizer for the first 6 weeks."
Does this mean i have to add nutes or water after 5-6 weeks? this leaf yellowing prob has started pretty soon since sprouting!

I noticed it creeping on after maybe 2-3 weeks of growth. I just really wanna sort this. I don't want it to affect the budding!

didn't see your post about your ph being just under 7. thats still a little high but probably not the problem. as be suggested its probably lacking a micronute of some sort.
So you haven't started flowering yet?check out my grow log:

Hey problem of withering leaves seems to be solved. wasnt reading my pH correctly. Got a digital reader, purchased a bottle of "PH Down" and i brought my waters PH from 7 to 6.4...and overnight...BOOM!! Iv also switched it to 12/12 and its growth has exploded, but with one problem fixed another occurs....im worried they will be too big for the PC Box. Theyr ALMOST touching the CFLs which are cool by the way. Should i be worried or will it be ok?
Is tying them down in anyway possible?
Heres some pics...

Right back with somegood news. iv moved my babys outta the pc grow box as they were gettin seriously cramped and have moved them into theyr brand new Homebox tent. Have also upgraded their lighting With a 110w PPL tubes 6400k output! Really excellent light off it. far better than spiral CFLs. I have also put in my normal 2700k spirals.
This post is basically a lighting question. Theyv been put onto 12/12 for the last 3 days and now that i have the addition on the 6400k im just wondering on where i should place my plants? I here having both spectrums is good for flowering.
This is how i have them, will they be fine like that or will i have to keep adjusting them?

Sticky ~ The positioning of your plants looks fine. The bulk of the lumens from a household type CFL comes mostly from the side. When I was running similar CFL's, I rotated the plants 1/4 clockwise turn on each watering/feeding day. They seemed to like that.
Lots of folks, way smarter than me, recommend mixing the spectrums for both vegging and flowering when using CFL's. You just want to have more bulbs in the blue range for vegging and more bulbs in the red end of the spectrum for flowering.
Good news on your PH. I started out using the drops/test tube type, then went to the paper strips, with different results, and finally broke down and got a digital. No contest, the digital wins and the plants definitely show the difference.
I'm anxious to see how your Lowriders turn out. I've thought that was a strain I might like to try.
