Few Question First Time Grower

Im gonna be growing soon for first time, been researching alot, great forum!

1. How many lights do i need (CFL) for 1 plant
2. Does it matter these seeds are from shitty weed?
3. How much weed will a small plant make if its female
4. What chance that its a female?
5. When they say root down when planting, does that mean the white thing coming out of seed goes down?

1. Depends on grow room.
   
2. Yes, shitty weed means shitty weed grow (however it was when you got it is most likely how it will come out.
   
3. Depends how small and tons of other factors (temp, lighting, nutes, etc)
   
4. 50-50 chance it's either male of female (that's obvious though).
   
5. LoL after reading this one, it is clear you need to read ALL the stickys in this forum. Hahaha are you serious? "The white thing coming out of seed" That cracks me up!
