Letter to the president

I'll write a letter as well. Unfortunately, President Obama seems pretty stern about his opinion on legalizing marijuana. I doubt any of this will phase him. For someone who admits to smoking Marijuana in the past, you'd think he'd consider this more than he seems to do. Every time the topic is brought up, in any way, shape or form; he replies with a "I don't support the legalization of marijuana". Plain and simple. He said that in his campaign, he said that in the debates, and he says it now.

I voted for the guy, but damn I do I disagree with him with this. If only he would reconsider. Or at least give it some serious, serious thought.

I believe this is more of a media movement than a presidential persuasion. What we need to do is get the media involved, then the president can't ignore it. January 20th is a significant date because it marks the one year mark of the new president. Just for the record president Obama did say that he supported the decriminalization of marijuana in one of his debates.
