Letter to the president

I'll write a letter as well. Unfortunately, President Obama seems pretty stern about his opinion on legalizing marijuana. I doubt any of this will phase him. For someone who admits to smoking Marijuana in the past, you'd think he'd consider this more than he seems to do. Every time the topic is brought up, in any way, shape or form; he replies with a "I don't support the legalization of marijuana". Plain and simple. He said that in his campaign, he said that in the debates, and he says it now.

I voted for the guy, but damn I do I disagree with him with this. If only he would reconsider. Or at least give it some serious, serious thought.

Letter to the president I am involved in a group, will remain unnamed, and we have decided to get as many people together as possible to send a letter to the whitehouse on Jan.-20-2010. In this letter we will be requesting the decriminalization of marijuana on a national scale. I would like to know if any of you fine people would also write a letter. For those of you who don't know, the DEA alone has a fifteen billion dollar annual budget to fight MARIJUANA. I would much rather see that money go to educating our Rating: 5

I believe this is more of a media movement than a presidential persuasion. What we need to do is get the media involved, then the president can't ignore it. January 20th is a significant date because it marks the one year mark of the new president. Just for the record president Obama did say that he supported the decriminalization of marijuana in one of his debates.
