Theoretically... this should work, at least chemically.

THC is soluble in both fats AND alcohols. Don't believe me, take some of your favorite herb, put it on a square piece of tshirt (cotton preferable) and run some isopropyl alcohol through it. The THC will run through the shirt with the alcohol and you will be left with an alcohol/thc solution. Using a non-flame heating source heat the alcohol until it is an oily substance... and you have thc oil (you can look up the exact process online it is VERY easy, but can be equally as dangerous).

Another interesting fact is that, due to protonation, thc would seemingly rather bond to an alcohol than a fat (stronger bond and more stable). Seemingly so, if you consume alcohol, which in return enters the blood stream and is passed into the organs and tissues of the body, you could collect a fair amount of THC product from the fatty tissue. This should make the "detox" process faster as you can basically synthetically remove THC from your tissue and have your liver break it down as though it was alcohol.

Again, just my theory.... let me know if that is completely wrong.

According to my home THC test strips...alcohol doesn't help get me clean in under 10-20 days...and I drink like a fish...:glugglug:

First of all they don't test for THC they test for THC metabolites and the main one is THC-COOH.

Second, how much alcohol do you really think you can take in to make a difference. Coma is possible around 0.4% BAC and death around 0.5% BAC.

This is just for starters. Plenty of holes in your theory dude. THC solubility is only one aspect of elimination.

Me too.lol It doesn't seem to help getting clean. Once the thc hits your kidneys and liver and deposited in your fat cells, its there till you the fat cells die and are replaced by new fat cells.

I am not saying it will clean you out, I am just asking if it would help the process. Yes the BAC, even at its highest, will not go over .2% or you won't be standing at least not well. But this being said, the THC contents of your fat cells is nearly as low (fractions of a percent) seeing as it can only chemically bond to the end of fatty acid chains... or at least it should only be able to. So even if you are running .2% alcohol in your blood, and you are pumping ~5 liters per minute of blood through your system, that is a substantial amount of alcohol over a few hours. Like I say I am not saying this will completely clean your system, but theoretically it should help... no?

Concentrations of the substrates does in fact make a difference as to the speed of a reaction. Blood flow through the kidneys really doesn't support your theory in any way. Unless you are going to Duke or UNC (North Carolina flag representing) and majoring in chemistry or molecular biology or pharmacy or pre med, this seems just like something to get everyone talking about alcohol.

I think we all understand that you are claiming it that it heps. Duhhhhhhh. You're just splitting hairs.
