Plant tips burning?
Hey guys i've been noticing some of my plant tips have become burnt and some yellowing has been happening to some of the leaves. It seems that if the stems become to redden or turn color at all then the leaves will start burning? Ive tried to not water for a few days to see if it was due to overwatering but that didnt seem to work, as well as I thought it was an N problem so I have began watering with some vitamins to replinish them.
Here is a breakdown from the troubleshooting thread-
indoor
soil, 10-10-10 to start
Miracle grow
SCL- Ive added some 18-6-10 nutrients to the last few sprays to revitalise
Distilled Tap water
E-Age of plant - 3-4 weeks old.
Every few days watering
- Flourescent T8 lighting, 6-12" away.
E-Air temperature is 74-80F
E-Air % Relative humidity 25-40%
E-Lighting schedule 18-6
E-Type of ventilation your room has - Forced air/fan
Thanks in Advance.:hippy:

I don't see anything too serious yet. Have you transplanted yet?...and add 20% perlite to the soil when you do......and I don't recommend foliar spray feeding unless you know what you are doing.

3 -4 weeks old and vegging in 18/6? Really?
Pistil clusters and smooth, single-bladed leaves would suggest she had a dose of 12/12 in the last few weeks. That on it's own could be responsible for the flushed stems. (see first pic)
On balance, I think it is more likely magnesium deficiency. (see pic 2)

Ive had my light on for 18hrs off for 6 since Ive started? Should they be different? Only thing I can think off is maybe they missed a day somehow? Whats the best way to get them back on track?
Also transplanted them 3-4 weeks ago into a larger bowl, they have already grown 3-4x bigger .

get your lamps closer to your plants, about 1"-2" above the plant canopy (fluorescent tubes don't penetrate) ... this has nothing to do with your problem, but it caught my eye ... and, yes, 18/6 is the most popular vegetation schedule, then switch to 12/12, for flowering ... good luck :smokin:
