I'm getting ready to build a new cabinet, just ordered new goodies today :thumbsup: ... 1000-watt switchable ballast, and, air-cooled reflector hood ... I plan to build a 4' x 4' x 8' cabinet, holding four 3.5 gallon hydro-buckets ... going to build the walls out of Home Depot's 'tileboard' this time around ... I did a light reflectivity test at Home Depot (I know they were thinking, " what the hell is the old fat guy doing ? ") ... stuff seems to be at least as reflective as the various flat-white materials were (Mylar ? - never again, dulls too quickly :wtf ... it's an 1/8" thick, waterproof, cheap, (about $9 for a 4'x8' sheet) ... it's like regular formica on one side, with a porcelain-like white coating on one side ... it's made for shower room walls, etc., it's the same stuff they make dry-erase marker boards from ... when I actually start building it, I'll post pics and details ... it won't be built until I arrive at a new location ... I know my initial post isn't very informative, but I was really bored ... more to follow, film at 11 :smokin:
