When they were kids, they were all in the band/friends togeather, and when ever they got weed, it would be "GREEN" so they would smoke it that DAY

On VH1's " Green Day : Behind The Music " Billy joe talked bout the name of the band and said when his boss new that he had a band he told billy joe it would be a "GREEN DAY" IN HELL before his band ever made it and thats how he got the name...

that is if you like punk, kerplunk and dookie are great if your into that. i could never get into that stuff, just never felt it in my heart. and i dont see any hip hop influence in american idiot, what am i missing?
