That's seriously NOT a good idea, let nature take control, and if the plants are caught by the hikers, that's a risk you're taking with growing in public areas.

But i was wondering if it would stress the plant out too much if it got more light for two days a week. I have to keep my growing spot discreet but on the weekends, there are some people who go walking through this area for nature walks or whatever so its a little hard to walk to the spot and carry my plants back to my dark room. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
