thats kinda what i figured myself too... they *could* be 30W CFLs i suppose... i've never seen a 30w cfl but i;m sure they exist.

that being said... i kinda wish when people talked about CFLs they would always reference their lumen count & colour temp. there is such inequality amoung CFLs that even just saying its a 23w CFL doesn;t really maen a whole lot.

I think the real problem stems from incadescent lights where everybody got the notion in their head that watts = light output and they don;t understand that watts is actually a measurement of used energy and actually has nothing to do with light output. Its kind of another one of those things where manufacturing companies have used poor marketting to enforce incorrect information.
syde00 Reviewed by syde00 on . unhappy grow Am in to 21 Days of my Lowryder grow , and my little baby is looking very unhappy , first i thought it was over watering so this morning it was the third day without water and no sign of any improvement. a little panic settled in so just gave it a light watering. The grow is running off 1*125W red light and two little 30w blue lights running 18hours on and 6 off. Any ideas as what the problem is here? For 20 of the days the plant was just growing off the one red light and was happy Rating: 5
