Did the cold get to them ? or maybe heat ? one of my bro's has had this and we can't seem to nail it down. It like hapens to a few sets of leaves and then back to veg fine. Almost like the effects of a low or high PH nute lockout and then gets under control and all is fine.

Possible overwatering causing root rot...? Can you carefully slip the rootball out of the pot, and see if the roots are ok?

I have seen this when I change environmental conditions drastically. going from indoor to outdoor and the temps at night drop too low. I have seen this happen multiple times on tests I have done by just throwing out some overflow outside. the only conclusion I can come to is too cold. same thing happend to my friend when he moved to a colder climate.
