How big of pot should i use for my ak47 xlowryder#2???
I start in 2 cup pots, then to 1 gallon, two gallon, five gallon, then ultimatelly into a five gallon bucket, which is about seven or eight dry gallons of soil.
If the pot is too big, you'll need too much water for such a small plant, and you'll waste valuble light. (more light hitting the soil, than is hitting the plant) When you fertilize, the plant is too small to absorb all those nutes, so the nutrients will build-up causing big problems. Use the right tool for the job.
Transplant properly and there will be no adverse affects. (actually, quite the opposite) Not done at all, you'll face an assortment of potential problems.
Did you really read this, or is this something you were just curious about...? If you read it, I'd like to see where. (a link will do)
