I want to start growing! But need some help

I spent the last 3 days on this forum just reading as much info as i could because i want to start growing my own herb

That, is the right start!

Another week and you start winnowing the wheat from the chaff.
There's a lot of BS that gets posted on the web.

All that said, growing weeds is easier than it first appears.
