Can We Suit The Federal Governmet?

I was just thinking out loud...do you guys think that we might be able to suit the federal government for misleading the public?

I mean, the state of California along with other states have medical marijuana programs in place, that allows people to cultivate and smoke marijuana if they have a recommendation from their doctor...but when people do get their recommendations and all the paper work straight, and some want to start up businesses in the field, they get arrested by the federal government, like Charles Lynch and thousands more who's names I'm not mentioning.

It seems like a set up by the federal government to arrest people and throw them in jail.

My opinion is, they should either completely criminalize the shit, and not allow any state to pass any marijuana programs, or they should completely legalize it and stop arresting people that follow their state and county laws.

This is very confusing, on one hand...the state says you can...but on the other hand federal government says you can't. It looks to me like the federal government and the state governments have some issues to work out before they start throwing innocent people in jail. And people like Charles Lynch and the rest of us are caught up in the middle.

That's why I'm wondering if there might be away to either suit the state government or the federal government for...(I don't even know if there is a proper word for it), but this shit seems just wrong) throwing people in jail for following the state and local laws.

These idiots need to get their shit straight before locking people up. And what do you think might happen when Schwarzenegger decides to completely legalize? Is the federal government going to do the same thing that they have been doing? Every time they raid a dispensary, they're taking money away from the state government's tax revenue. Is Arnold going to be ok with the feds robbing him and his state of potential tax revenue?
Or is he gonna tell the feds to stay out of his state? And if he does tell tell them that, does this mean that California is an independent state?

See what I mean? This is just a big-o fuck up.

I'm not saying that people only hear what they want, it doesn't matter that the states have legalized it, the federal government has not and we shouldn't act like it's legal...and we shouldn't listen to the federal government because we want it to be legal, we want the truth and what our government is putting us through is deception.

P.S. remember when you were a kid, and you went up to your dad and asked him if you could go outside and play, and he said go ask your mom, if she says it's OK...then you can go. So then you go and ask your mom if you could go and play, she says...did you ask your dad if it's ok? And you say...yeah, he's saying if it's OK with you I can go and play. So than your mom says... fine if your dad said it was OK, than go.
So you take your happy ass outside and start playing with your friends.
Your dad comes along, and he snatches your ass off the streets, gives you a whooping in front of your friends, embarrasses you and grounds you for one month for not listening to him. You say...but dad, you said to ask mom if I could play, because you were OK with that. And your dad says, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT I SAID, (forgetting that he's the one that told you to ask your mom).

This is sort of what our government's doing to us, right now. And it must stop.

It would take someone with deep pockets to sue the government. I would love to see it happen but I think its a pretty slim chance.

Sure you could sue the government. But I think you have a snowball's chance to hit a jackpot and get judges who give a damn about whether the law is Constitutional.

And the legal situation is clear in my opinion. If you are licensed in Cali, you can grow and possess and Cali state police, county sheriffs, and city officers will not arrest you, and you would be found not guilty in California state courts, and you will not do any time in Cali prisons or local jails.

But the U.S. Government can still come get you. I don't think the State of California is giving the registry list to the DEA. If they gave that list to DEA, then it would be unconstitutional, it would be entrapment. I don't think that's going on.

As far as California being an independent state, there used to be a concept of state's rights. It meant that each state governs itself, and the U.S. Government only governs those issues that affect states together, such as shipping items from one state to another. But that isn't of any concern to the modern politician.

    What the hell?
Obama said federal police and DEA can no longer interfere with state laws regarding medical marijuana. You guys cannot be arrested for growing medical marijuana or buying or possessing.

With full legalisation....I assume he will say the same thing.

In Aus right now a couple of guys got busted who were using for medical use (not legal over here) and they are taking their case to the High Court of Australia (biggest one) and arguing necessity and that the law is unconstitutional and they are protected under the Geneva convention. If you look at the Geneva convention it applies fully to us.

My thread for this is here http://boards.cannabis.com/politics/...challenge.html and there is a link to a topic on ozstoners in that thread if you want to learn about how they are going about it.
