It's not well publicised but hemp seed was used for centuries in Asia and eastern Europe as a staple porridge. And amazingly, they could get all their protein, fat, and carbohydrate requirements on a plant-based diet alone, without developing any hormonal imbalances that can result from excessive consumption of soy. And it's easy to grow so you can scrape through a period of interruption of food distribution. And I think hempseeds are incredibly delicious. I like to shell a few from each bag and eat them, it tastes just like you would expect from the smell of the plant.

Of course, this is very dangerous to a great many financial interests, so it needs to be kept secret. Mwahahaha.
