When you work for the Fed-Gov they give you a pretty scientific analysis.
I believe they send it to a lab for a Gass chromatography test. My understanding is they break the sample down to a moleculer level for the analysis.
Question-
will this advanced test pick up difference between real and synthetic (QF) urien and cause a failure?
If you have a clean donor, will this test determine the sex of the donor,
or if it belongs to your or not?.
I understand these are pretty top notch labs.
Mucho Much thanks!celticdude Reviewed by celticdude on . Fed-Gov U/A When you work for the Fed-Gov they give you a pretty scientific analysis. What are you going to work for the CIA?
A government test isn't any tougher than a standard DOT test which is used to as the standard.
They'll test it with immunassay the same as they do for everyone else and then if it shows a positive it will be sent to GC/MS for confirmation. I've had 5 federal background checks done as a sub contractor for the USPS. They're pretty much a joke.

Hey there 420, don't work for CIA but did work for DOD as civilian. Certain occupations Drivers, heavy equipment operators, people in helath and safety ect. must take random tests and it goes to a gass chomatography analisys. Understand that its similar labs that test the NFL.
Any info or advice?
Thanks again 420 I have read many of your threads and advice and they are WONDERFUL!

Since you work for the Feds you'll fall under the regulations set by SAMHSA. Those regulations, for the most part, mirror those of DOT. As an example:
- The Federal workplace drug test still does an initial IA screen on the sample, Cutoff limit set at 50ng. The GC/MS is used only to confirm any positives on the IA screen.
-They cannot perform gender tests, pregnancy tests, or the like. They can only test the creatinine levels, the pH, the specific gravity, certain oxidants, surfacants, and excessive nitrites.
And theres more.
In fact here are the regulations, found in this link: Drug Testing
Another thing, the GC/MS is used to test for drugs and 2 types of adulterants (pyridine and Glutaraldehyde). It is not used to determine dilution or substitution.
Take some time and play with that link. Lots of important info for you.To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

Synthetic urine still works for these kinds of tests. I rely on QuickFix because I've never seen it fail.
