Yeah I agree, still use it if, god forbid, the situation come up for you.
Obviously it won't get you off from that alone, but it's at least an extra bit of leverage. BTW you can get convicted for just saying you did something illegal. People confess to murders all the time when they start to feel guilty. No more evidence is needed.
You could say "If you're going to put me in jail, you have to put Barak Obama in jail as well".
