I know it may sound off the wall to some, but the best defense you may have in a court if you are busted is to refer the court to the admission of the current president. President Obama admitted inhaling frequently as a youth. Since Barry won by nearly a landslide it should be a no brainer. Did anyone who is prosecuting you vote for Obama? Ask for a jury trial at their expense.
Raise that question. Because if Barry had ever been busted as a youth, being of mixed race, he wouldn't be where he is today. He wouldn't have gone to Harvard, all the opportunties would most likely have dried up, and you would never have heard of Barak Obama.
I say, if the president can get away with admitting using cannabis, then so should you. Please show me the difference in how the president having used to no ill effects is different than any other common citizen when it comes to this basic issue. I mean, they are all now saying or alluding to a premise, "if the president did it, its not breaking the law" or its okay for him but not you. Should that be true, what's good for the goose, is good for the gander in my book. :smokin:
Believe me, if they come after me again, I will use it, and call them all kinds of hypocrites.gypski Reviewed by gypski on . ROFL! Let me know how that goes.. Do you honestly think a judge is going to accept that as a valid argument? First off, anything you say someone else said is heresay and cannot be admmited in a court of law. Do you have any proof that the president actually smoked weed? I dont think so.. All you have is his own personal admission, and since he will not appear at your case, there is no way to admit that in to evidence.
Secondly, just becasue someone else gets away with something doesnt make it legal. If someone steals my car, does that make it legal for me to take my neighbors? Nope again..
And finally remember that he did not "get away" with anything, he was quite simply smart enough not to get caught. Be the same kind of smart and maybe you can be where he is one day.

Yes it was meant to be humorous but also to the point. I know it wouldn't work in a court, but it would be the truth, and if we are supposed to take the president as being an honest person, we have to take him on his word. That he inhaled frequently. Saying such a thing in court is just pointing out the hypocracy. I don't forsee me getting busted again ever. But should I, and they enjoy doing what they do, have at it. It won't stop me once I got out of jail. And continuing to arrest adults who use cannabis responsibly medically or just for GP shows how hypocritical our country's leaders can be.

Yeah I agree, still use it if, god forbid, the situation come up for you.
Obviously it won't get you off from that alone, but it's at least an extra bit of leverage. BTW you can get convicted for just saying you did something illegal. People confess to murders all the time when they start to feel guilty. No more evidence is needed.
You could say "If you're going to put me in jail, you have to put Barak Obama in jail as well".

Thats why in some of these cases you're better off being your own attorney. Because an attorney wouldn't have the balls to make that arguement and others equally important. All it takes is to convince one person on the jury of the hypocricy and you win.
