What could be sprayed on mj that would make you sick

Hey, I recently had a bad experience at a friend's place and became violently ill after smoking. I've been smoking for years and this was the first such experience. He felt that somebody might have sprayed something on it at some point. Not nice. But that got me thinking, what could be sprayed or added to weed that would make you sick? I've heard that hairspray would do the trick but what else? Has anyone else had a similar experience. This is my first post, nice to be here!

I remember in the late 70's or early 80's there was a Pariquat scare.I know I did not spell that right. They where spraying this on weed in Mexico. Since then nodda..... could you just have had the flu?

I've heard of people spraying them with formaldehyde and embalming fluid to make schwag better, but I've personally stayed away from schwag, plus I know where all my bud comes from....

hey there, new here as well. I have seen some stuff com this way that was weighed down with baking soda. This was six months ago on the east coast.

Then there is the possibility that the grower saw a bug and got out the RAID. Many insecticides are "first cousins" to nerve gas! Grow organically!

Or mold from poor curing can do it, but you can tell that by the musty smell.

To adulterate cannabis is just plain WRONG!

I got weed once with speed on it. And another time this guy at school had some with window cleaner on it. He smoked it anyway. Luckily this chick told me about it so I didn't get any lol
I don't see why they think they're gonna sell more product. Quite a difference between stoned/high and chromed.

One particular heinous method was the use of Colchicene { spell?}
Used on the budding branches, it created the first "super weed".
Highly toxic! DO NOT USE! Then there was PCP, again, too toxic!
Straight up lovingly grown herb as it is meant to be can not be beat.
If you grow crap, dump it and start again. Anyone can get it right.
The guvm'nt will be putting out its own stuff, and I think it will be tainted.
Know your supplier, and trust only those that use.
