    Hey Guys and Gals,
Im the new guy today, so help me along if I fuck it up.
I am a long time grower of many crops since my early days at the Haight in the 60s. I have learned some really cool things about growing plants that I would really like to share with you guys because they work.
Most importantly Mycorrhizal Inoculum and the hyphal mycellium that brings in the true plant health.
    Talk to me............

    Headshake,

Well, it is good you are into mycology! As you are aware the reason plants are still on this earth after 480 million years is due to the fact that some 90% of all plants are protected by mycorrhizae, (fungus root), or the roots roots. Mycorrhizae enables plants to become more efficient in the uptake of water and nutrients, draught tolerance, disease suppression enabling the target plant to naturally do what God, or whomever or whatever your flavor is intended it to do, survive.
We all know how important this naturally occuring phenomenon is, the problem is mycorrhizae needs the correct components around it to work. Sterile soils such as most planting mediums are generally void of the essential elements. Composted soils and composted teas provide the necessary environment for true mycorrhizal colonization and thus the hyphal mycellium that acts as a scavenger of the earth to bring the necessary elements to the plant for optimum growth. Blah, Blah, it literally goes on and on, but I will give you a little primmer today.
The key element is true plant health, this target crop reacts unbelievably in both quality, health and quantity of crop levels. Most importantly you are now not growing in a sterile environment, but in a 100% natural organic one, that we all subscribe to.
Well, all for now, shoot me your thoughts.
    Rooty.
