Fighting a losing battle... and I won!

Well, when my parents first found out I smoked cannabis they got pissed off and threatened to ground me untill I was 18. Now for what ever reason my father thinks i'm doing coke... Don't even ask me why, I was totally surprised on this one but I told him straight up, "Buy a drug test and randomly test me and i'll show you how much of a fool you are." Of course it was a stupid thing to add that last remark about him being a fool but it got to him and he knows I only smoke cannabis.

Well here's the story. I was sitting down eating dinner watching TV. with my mother and father. My mom brought up the subject that "I can't take you to your friend (x) house because you father thinks you're smoking and doing drugs again." So he speaks up, defends his position like he never said anything about that for some odd reason. Either he's feeling like he didn't think she would say anything or he's just lying his ass off. But anyways we watched TV. for about 30 seconds and during that time I guess he was figuring out what he wanted to talk to me about. He paused the TV and he asks something along the line of "what are you doing?" Now, i've never ever had a Marijuana chat with my father, the only thing i've ever talked to him about it is "no, I don't smoke" so straight up I told him, "i'm smoking weed" and he paused for a second, thought of some shit again and to my amazment he told me... "I know pot isn't that bad but you just need to go to school otherwise you're going to have a fucked up time" Well I was shocked that he didn't get pissed off or anything. The only thing I can think of is that i'm 18 now and i've told them I can do what ever I want and they can't do shit. I just told them if they want they can kick me out but stop doing this shit. Actually being 18 has given me the balls to be able to talk back to my dad. He's a very scary guy, tall, big, and well built, so he kind of intimidates me...

I don't want to get kicked out of my house... I can afford it easily but leeching is the way to go!

But i'm pretty happy now, I can now smoke w/o worrying that he will be pissed off. I don't dare smoke while he's around because that might change his mind. I'll keep cool for a few days and not smoke untill this weekend so things stay good. I'm just glad, this four year battle of lying every weekend about what I do at my friends house is over. I won my Freedom.
