Through the entire vegetative stage. Some people think that a plant cant make use of more than 18 hours of light a day and that it is better to just save the electricity. Others say to go for 24. I cant find anything conclusive for either argument.

Although the plant does not need the 24 hours of light, we can still give it the extra light during the vegatative state, 18 hours light. But i have noticed that giving the plant 24 hours of light every other day and 18 hours of light every other day also, greatly produces larger yielding plants in my experience.:jointsmile:
