How Much Can You Dilute Without Supplementing?
Hello,
Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to share. It is appreciated.
How much can I dilute the day of the test WITHOUT having to supplement with creatine or B-vitamins?
I would rather not as the facility, I have heard, is doing very specific testing to see if these supplements were taken.
Instead, I am thinking of only partially diluting and not supplementing with anything.
Do you think that this might work?
1. 24 OZ Water 8 Hours before the test
1. 32 OZ Powerade 4 hours before the test
2. 24 OZ Water 1 hour before the test
Do you think that I would still have to supplement using that method?
I am trying to find that "sweet spot" balance of partially diluting without having to supplement.
The times above are based on the day and the specifics of the testing site so I can move the times much but of course I can adjust the amounts.
Any advice appreciated. I am also thinking of taking a b-complex and eating a steak (for the creatine) 24 hours before the test so I don't have to supplement the day of.
I know that they told one guy he had too much potassium in his system so I am worried that they will also test for excessive b-vitamins...
Thanks again for any thoughts as this is very important to me...Iamthatguy Reviewed by Iamthatguy on . How Much Can You Dilute Without Supplementing? Thought that it might be relevant in regards to the dilution.
Also thinking that how much water I consume the days prior might be important as well.
Again, any thoughts sincerely appreciated!

I wouldn't drink that much fluid unless a negative/dillute is what your after. Just stay with the 40 ounces of gatorade about 3 hours before the UA.

Thanks for the reply.
I do want a negative and need to dilute to achieve that (the information you osted in the other thread was great by the way.)
I am just trying to avoid supplementing with B complex and creatine on the day of the test due to the high level of scrutiny the sample will be under.
Is it OK you think to drink a 24 oz bottles say 8 hours before and the gatorade 4 hours before (I won't be able to drink it any closer due to being monitored in the facility) and then another 24 oz an hour before?
Do you think that will work in terms of diluting enough (I only test negative if I dilute with 1/2 gallon water) yet without having to supplement?
Thanks again for any assistance as you are saving my ass here.

Sounds like a bunch of scare tactics. And theyre working on you.
For starters, creatine is found in all human muscle tissue. The body metabolizes creatine into creatinine. Creatinine, being the waste product, is what the labs test for, not creatine.
Creatinine is expected in a urine sample. Labs check the creatinine level to determine a diluted sample. Urine samples with a creatinine level over 20 mg/dL are satisfactory. Samples between 2 -20 mg/dL are ruled "too-dilute".
There are no upper limits established for creatinine, therefore samples cannot be flagged for high creatinine levels.
Still, care must be taken when loading up on creatine supps. Overloading on creatine will have you sitting on the toilet seat for long periods of time.To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

Another thing: Taking any creatine on the day of the U/A is useless. It takes 2-3 days for creatine to metabolize into creatinine. Therefore, any creatine loading should be done at least 3 days before the U/A.
