Upcoming Drug Test Help/advice Needed

Hi forum! As you can see I'm new, and I have a drug test coming up so i'm looking to the experienced members for advice.

I am fairly slim build 5'9/5'10 150lbs. I have a quick metabolism and I walk at least a mile a day + occasional strenuous exercise: sports, running etc.

So here's the issue: I'm about to get hired for a job, the last step is the mandatory drug screening.

I used to smoke regularly... then I quit completely for two months, after 60 days of being sober I smoked 5 hits of a small joint and stopped again for 22 days. Today is day 22 and I will take the test on day 28. I passed a home test this afternoon.

I want to know if the Labcorp 2-7 panel test i'll be taking has a lower threshold for detection than the home test i took? Do you think i'll be able to pass? should I try to dilute anyway just to be safe?

you'll be fine.

a one-time high on an otherwise thc clean body takes less than a week to clear.

you could always take your first morning urine and test it with another hometest. That is your most concentrated, so if you can pass that test, you know you can pass the drug test.

but if i had to guess... i'd say you don't need to dilute to pass your test... stay hydrated, but no two gallons (sorry, still amazed by a recent post..):wtf:

thanks for the response... i'll do another home test on friday morning when i wake up and post up the results.

i the meantime, if anyone else has any useful test day tips for me please let me know.

would it be smart to do the test in the AM or afternoon? before or after meals?

also should i avoid exercise and eat red meat a couple days before the test to be safe? or do you think i'm sufficiently clear that its not an issue.

ah, you've been reading the posts (or researching somewhere) :thumbsup:

if you pass your first morning's sample hometest... then you are pretty good to go... However, it doesn't hurt not to exercise and having a nice steak dinner a time or two before your test. No need to burn any fat in the days before the test.

Like I said, I wouldn't chance the overdilution, as I think you'll be fine. Drink a bottle of gatorade in the hours before your test for added specific gravity.

i took my test (at the lab) in the afternoon. As far away from morning's most concentrated urine as I could get

so i just did a home test with my first pee of the morning (most filled with toxins). I passed but the line was very faint. does the color of the line have anything to do with HOW CLEAN you are? or is it just two lines pass, 1 line fail?

I just read on the home test website that how faint the line is has nothing to do with the level of THC metabolites in your urine. as long as there is a line you are clear. the line is sometimes more or less faint because of various proteins and other metabolites present in your urine.

well there are more than one kind of test, but most of them are one line fail, two lines pass. it doesn't matter how faint it is, if you can photocopy it, its a line.
