How early does THC form in the plant?

If I were to have only a plant that had been growing for 4 weeks, with no buds or anything. Then I took that plant and tried to make cannabis butter, would it work? Sorry if it didn't make sense, I'm high.

No, be patient and see it to the end, you'll be happier and wiser.

I know that'd be much better, but I am just wondering.... would it make potent enough cannabis butter if I used used the entire plant?

No. there is a reason we throw the rest of the plant out when we harvest the buds.

not true - many use the left overs to make hash from... therest of the plant contains upwards of 10% of the plants total resin.

You wouldn;t really want to smoke this stuff, but the thc can be extracted from relativly easily.

as for the orignal question however... basically as long as you see trichomes on your plant somewhere, it means you have thc there, at your stage of growth however, i;m going to guess it would be incredibly low and not worth the effort.

using just stems and big fan leaves would be a waste of time and produce next to nothing if anything at all. when people use trim id say 99% of the trichomes come from the sugar leaves (which many people keep on the bud and smoke, myself included) not from big fan leaves and stems especially from a 4 week old plant.

yeah, from a 4 week old plant your going to get next to nothing... unless its a very fast maturing strain and sent into flower immediatly... but you are right, its going to be next to nothing...

i was really just trying to say that technically its possible, but... like i said, probably not worth the effort
