NEED HELP WITH OVERWATERING FIRST GROW

i need help guys i overwatered a 6 day old seedling and now its droopy will it recover sorry no pics and oh yeah im a noob what should i do please help p.s i also topped a 7 day old seedling 3 leaf set off what will happen and yes i overwatered its nothing else help please and i made a grow box 4ft tall 18inch wide using mylar for reflecting light i got 4 cfls and they are 6500k and the plants are 8days old from seed they were growing great then i watered for first time and plants got droopy and all groth stoped and i did the noob and used mg moisten control soil and ther in small pots dont know what measurement please help will they get vigor again....

i've heard that medium is too harsh for seedling, so that may be the problem....but if you overwatered then just don't water it until it's almost dry then just give it enough water as you get runoff coming from the bottom of the pots! They should recover if you give her your TLC :jointsmile:

Also you should try to avoid topping until the 4th or 5th node, but if it doesn't look like it really bothered it then no worries....it will probably just take awhile to recover, but you may get 2 branches where it was topped....

thank for your wisdom dude does c02 make weed grow faster will that get them back to vigor growing again

deep breath, exhale, and just relax. it should come back fine. check your drainage and wait till the soil dries before next watering. even if they die, you've only lost a week. as far as MG soil goes, you could be using worse. and I'd wait to top or take clones till you have atleast 5 or more nodes.

co2 is good for your plants, but more of an advanced growing technique. I'd start out simple and work your way up. your little plants will be ok, you're identifying problems and searching for answers, that's the best you can do. i'm confident you'll figure it out.

they contain very useful info.

try and understand that people are much more likely to help someone who shows
enough initiative to learn enough to ask difficult questions. you'll earn respect that
way also.

just so you know, i popped 30 seeds for my first attempt and i killed them all,
then i popped 30 more and killed all but 5, i'm a slow learner and it took me a
while to learn how to not kill them.

my last attempt with seeds i popped 10, 5 White Rhino and 5 PPP and you know
what, all 10 are still alive nearly a year later and still providing me with cuts
to keep my SOG running and feeding my head.

my point is that there are a lot of very knowledgable people here who are more
than willing to help anyone willing to help themselves.

This is def. useful information, you should do what I did; read, read, read, read, and ohhhh yeah....read some more

Also, being new I wouldn't incorporate any CO2 as of yet as you could over do it and kill them completely or even kill yourself (if using a CO2 tank). Too much is bad too. With time that step will come in...
