I used to draw computer games a long time ago, each of the sections in the below was originally drawn in 320x200 resolution and 32 colours. It's intended as a background screen for choosing your character in a game.

There wasn't any digitising when I drew them, everything had to be drawn pretty much by eye a pixel at a time. A picture then usualy took between 2/4 days to create. The bottom right one (of the 4) has been touched up in PS, but they're pretty much as they were drawn back then.

The rightmost picture is done entirely in PS.
