Info for LEGALLY supplying dispensaries and clinics

Hello...I understand this is going to come across as an EXTREMELY n00bish question, but, I am just that. I am curious as to how I would find info on selling/supplying the clinics and dispensaries around with the marijuana I am legally growing. I want to find ALL the info out there, and not just some "I heard that...and I heard this....I have a friend who..." I want this to be as LEGAL and on the up and up as possible.

Any sites I should visit? Online literature/explanation of how a card holder, who is allowed to grow, can then supply to the clinics? Do I need to speak to an attorney? Do I need an additional card or anything?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

From what I've read. Supplying dispensaries is still pretty much of a gray area. Dispensaries are legal in some states but there was no explanation in the law to describe where the legal dispensaries can get there MJ.
Probably the best bet is to just go talk to a couple dispensary owners and see what they require.

killerweed420...I had thought about going to the clinics themselves and talking to the owners/people in charge, but I didnt want that to come across as some creepy "backroom" talk, ya know? Like I'm trying to be all sly and under the radar.

How would you, or anyone, suggest starting off such a meeting?

probably need to just approach it like any "normal" sales person would... either give them a cold-call or just show up, explain your a legal grower and that you'd be interested in becoming a new supplier for them.

to them, this is just a regular business arrangement, just like any regular office building say buys paper from a supplier... its not going to seem at all unusual to them i would think.

i used to be in a business that would get many vendors coming by to try to get me interested in their products.

IF a vendor came by without an appointment, i would usually be TOO busy to deal with them, and they'd leave a card, and would call back (or not).

call ahead, and state your purpose for calling. (after a pleasent introduction)

find out WHO makes the buying decisions, and try to get through to them.
ask when is the best time to call back, or stop by.

samples and freebies always caught my attention.

i would suggest having information on your strains, and the features, advantages, and benefits of retailing YOUR product.

i would think like all products it will come down to...
-quality and benefits of your strain(s).
-pricing... with any available volume discounts, credit lines available, and dating disconts on balances (credit).
-availablity... your business plan should include frquency and volume of harvests available to the store you are prospecting.
-quality control... consistent product, availability, and quality along with any other attributes such as totally organic, sanitation, etc.
    - testimonial letters from happy customers (patients).
    - fancy, organized, and clear printed information (brochure) that you can leave with prospect.
    - FOLLOW UP, and get used to the word 'NO', and figure out how to overcome objections (simple sales).

how to do all this in a MMJ industry would be complicated in that you will be, probably, spending alot of effort trying not to seem to be a NARC.

i admit that i never had to worry about the USGA busting down my pro shop door to check to see if all the golf balls i sold conformed to USGA specs, so i bet that TRUST will be a big issue.

trust can be gained through rapport building process, which will probably take a few visits to attain.

    good luck!

that 'backroom' talk you speak of sounds like 'industry talk', and is legit in all businesses.
