    white widow mutation

Whats up all! im new here and love to use the site for info. on growing. Ben at it a couple years now but always with clones. Anyhow, I ordered 10 White widow seeds from Amsterdammarijuanaseeds with 20 free. got the seeds within 6 days, aamazin!

So germinated 3 white widow and 4 mystery seeds in a cup of of water for 24 hrs. then thru em in a paper towel. Next day I had sprouts so I put em Jiffy 7 pellet under 1000watt (all I had at the time) hung 7 ft. under 18-6 light for two days. Needless to say they stretched, so I bought some flourescents and hung em about 3 or 4in. above canopy. by this time first true leaves were appearing except the White widow seedlings all had some sort of mutation. One side of the first true leaves (serrated) wasn't growing as fast, was significantly shorter than the other side and didnt display the knife like point of a normal blade but rather round or square at the tip. Ive never grown from seed and have never seen anything like it.

My guess would be weak seeds or a characteristic of the starain at that age. They're a lil over two weeks old now and the ww have grown but has the same characteristics. I hope they grow out of it. Anyone who has seen this or can tell me whats goin on would be greatly appreciated.

Check the pics. 4 pics of the 3 ww seedlings(ww labels) and one mystery seed

I agree with pimp, besides it's not going to grow in exact mirror of it's self.

I highly recommend: small 4 inch pots or 16 oz. cups for seedlings....and T-12 floro tubes (6500k) lighting. T-12's won't burn seedlings and need to be within 1-2 inches of the seedling tops.......the first 3 weeks...IMO.

First pic: one week..4 inch pots... Second pic: 6 inch pots/week#3...... Third pic: comparison.

Ok guys and gals heres some new pics and info. I haven't bought a water ph tester yet but i figure a inline filter that filters out cholorine, calcium, and all other chemicals should mean somewhat close to ideal. I will also mention that the ph in my soil is about 6.4 to6.9. Two of the WW sort of came out of it, but but the one runt looks frickin weird, lol! Oh and I water every 2 two days or when soil looks dry a couple in. down.
