Passed Home Test at 50ng but not 20ng Test: HELP

:wtf:Hello all, I NEED HELP! I passed 2 home tests which test at 50ng but failed a lab test that looks at 20ng that I took on my own. I haven't smoked in a month but before that I was heavy smoker. I have been overdosing on water, detox teas, and formulas! What can I do? Real test for a potential job is in about a week.

Dont worry im sure doing what your doing will pass. But also know that you gotta exercise too. Try to lose a pound or 2. Also drink more water than any other fluids.

Thanks Kronic420. I just started yesterday to do the treadmill for 30 minutes in the morning and evening. And I'm also doing 30 minutes in the sauna in the am and pm. As for the pounds, I'll try and aim for 5 pounds. I weigh 139 and am 5'6". Are there any other pointers that you or any others can recommend? Do you know which test most employers shoot for (50ng or 20ng)?

Most people will sub but i rather go natural just keep doing it. Sauna will make it go away faster too as it makes u sweat and makes ur metablolism faster. Just remember water exercise and diet. oh and water keep up the good work your treadmill sessions should pay off. just diet though dont starve yourself but for an example eat one serving per meal and stick to 2-3 meals a day. If you have 2 meals a day make em big meals if 3 meals make em small. i Used to be really overweight i lost a lot of people by exercising and dieting and drinking a lot of water. Also if you can theres teas that make your digestive system faster and makes you go go go!!!!

Saunas and sweating are of no help because very little THC is excreted via sweat. The rest is being excreted via the urine and bowels.

An increased metabolism is not a good idea if the scheduled test is days away. Instead, it should be decreased. Anytime fat cells are burned, the stored THC metabolites get released into the bloodstream, and end up in the urine and the bowels. For the 3 days before the U/A, you want to stop all exercising and be as lazy as possible to prevent excessive THC metabolites from being released into the bloodstream, which end up in the urine to be detected.

Drinking water days before the test is of no help. It may make you urinate frequently, but the rate in which the THC metabolites are filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys remains unaffected. Drinking fluids is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Thats because by drinking fluids, you are diluting the concentration of THC metabolites thats present in the bladder - in an effort to make the sample register below the cutoff thresholds of the assay screen.
Its a balancing act and the phenomena is only temporary. Once all of the fluids taken in had been urinated out, a dirty donor will resume testing positive for THC.

also, test the middle of your piss (not start or finish where most of metabolites are expelled) and i like pectin gel, like certo or whatever - tastes like shit but i have had success in passing tests

So youre assuming that the pectin was the reason? How 'bout the water that was consumed with the pectin, which effectively diluted your bladder to where the sample tested negative?
You wouldve passed those tests anyway just on the water alone and without the nasty tasting pectin to go with it.

Well i dont know about the whole "digestive system works faster youll show up positive" but i know that water dilutes the piss like what Burnt Toast said so the more you drink the more it will be diluted enough to be neither positive or negative but neutral.

I am in the same boat. Question: Where did you get your test done? because at all the local lab places I know, they are still set at 50 ng/ml and I know my test will also be at the 20 ng/ml level. And I know they check for dilution.
