Should you transplant a seedling growing about 3 inches from the inner edge of the flower pot? I guess when watered it moved to the side a bit. Should another seed be planted or should transplanting be halted until it's roots are strong. The pot is 4 gallons:greenthumb:

you should be ok, I don't really see it harming anything, probably just more annoyance and an inconvenience

you plant will be fine as far as where it is located in the pot.

but you might want to read up a bit as planting a seed in a 4-gallon pot is not advised.

shake's right, the fact that it's near the edge of the pot isn't a problem, per se,
it's just that you shouldn't have planted it into a 4 gallon pot.

planting seeds into big pots.
