When can i start giving fertilizer?

I was just wondering how old the plant needs to be before i can start giving it some fertilizer?

Im brand new to all of this so i know im sounding like a real newb but im confused about the growth periodes. I know theres germination/seedling, then vegetation, then flowering. When does a plant start its vegetaion stage? Im guessing its as soon as it comes out of the dirt and gets its first node. Is that correct?

All these answers can already be answered if you read the sticky's in the growing section! Or even google them, it's a lot faster than waiting to get a response from someone when you can simply just do a little research and find it!

You can give them their first light feeding after the cotyledons have died.

Like was said above, plenty of good information on the boards to get you started with the basics.

if your growing in soil - you should wait around a month from sprouting
