I cut or pick the buds into smaller pieces and use my oven to dry them. Before I used 100C until I read that 75C /170F melted trichomes... now I use 65-70C and it takes a few hours. Gotta open and close the oven every half hour or so to get rid of the moisture. An oven thermometer would also be good to make sure temps don't get too high. Learned this from Rusty in one of the harvest threads.

When I used 100C, I still got high, and it took less time to dry, but I'm guessing I was losing a lot of potency.
bigtopsfinn Reviewed by bigtopsfinn on . everyone's best quick-dry methods? what's good everybody? i was watering the ladies and found a hermie amongst them. i can't believe it. i found a few dead flowers and everything. they were not there the last time i watered (about 4 or so days ago). so now i have this he/she just standing-by, outside the flower cab. i would like to get everyone's preferred quick-dry method. yes, i know this isn't recommended, but i'm out of bud and would like to smoke. and if i have to sacrifice a he/she to get high, then so be it!
